It is with some considerable concern that I send this email to you regarding the A470 trunk road through the centre of the small market town of Rhayader in Mid Wales.

The physical state of the road on xxxxxx Street is in a very poor condition and also the speed and size of traffic using the road is increasingly becoming very dangerous both to pedestrians and road users.

I have in the past communicated with town councillors, local councillors, the police, to mention just a few, sadly all appear to be unable to get any positive action taken to improve things, before someone is seriously injured or worse.

Can you as part of this new initiative please consider resurfacing the badly damaged road surface and also some desperately needed traffic calming measures.

My historic Grade 2 listed property on xxxxxx Street is continually being physically shaken by the size and speed of lorries passing by, especially in the early hours of the morning
